How to snap your Hamsteropolis set together — no tools, no glue
Welcome, builder! 🏰
Your set arrived as flat pieces plus a small bag of connector rails. Everything snaps together with the same hidden connector — HabitatLink™ — so there are no tools and no glue. Find the bag of rails first; they’re the key to every joint.
How to insert a rail — 3 steps
Slide in the rail
Every wall, tower, and platform has a built-in vertical slot on its side. Take a HabitatLink™ connector rail and slide it all the way down into the slot until it stops.
Add the next piece
Line up the slot on the next piece with the exposed half of the rail, then slide it straight down until it seats. You’ll feel it settle into place.
Keep building
Repeat to connect walls, towers, bridges, and tunnels into any layout you like. To take it apart, just slide pieces back up and off the rail.
Quick tips
- ✓Build on a flat surface so pieces line up squarely.
- ✓Rails always go in vertically — top to bottom.
- ✓Don’t force it. If a piece won’t seat, lift it, realign the slot, and slide again.
- ✓Every piece uses the same HabitatLink™ connector, so anything connects to anything.
Safety & care
- 🛡️Place your finished build inside a proper, appropriately sized enclosure — Hamsteropolis is enrichment, not a cage replacement.
- 🛡️Supervise your pet whenever you introduce a new setup.
- 🛡️Keep layouts open enough to see into, monitor, and adjust.
- 🛡️To clean: slide the pieces apart, wash with warm water and a mild, pet-safe soap, dry fully, then rebuild.
- 🛡️Check pieces now and then, and retire any piece your pet chews on persistently.
